Privacy Policy for LOZdigital.com

We help local businesses get more customers. We are not in the business of selling your information. We use a website, a chat bot, pixels, and an account sign-up widget to connect, follow up, and measure—so LOZdigital and our clients can communicate with customers better. Sometimes that requires automation and tracking (analytics, pixels, retargeting, and CRM). It’s only to deliver and improve our services, not to sell your data.
What We Collect & Why
We collect only what we need to talk to you, deliver demos/services, and improve the site.
A. Things you give us
- Contact details (name, email, phone) when you chat with our bot, text/call/email us, or sign up via our Acquisition Widget (creates an account for our client portal).
- Business info you share (company, website, goals, budgets, notes).
- Consent preferences (e.g., “ok to text me,” “unsubscribe”).
Why: to respond to inquiries, create free snapshots/demos, set up your portal account, schedule calls, and send helpful service messages or marketing (only if you opt in).
B. Things collected automatically
- Device/usage data (IP, pages viewed, time on page, referrer, approximate location) via Google Analytics 4 and standard server logs.
- Chat/session data from the bot (messages, timestamps) so we can answer questions, troubleshoot, and improve responses.
- Cookies/pixels to remember preferences, secure the site, attribute campaigns, and understand traffic.
Why: to keep the site working, secure, and useful; to fix bugs; to see what content helps visitors; and to measure what marketing actually works.
C. Sensitive data / minors
We don’t want sensitive data (health, financials, SSNs). Don’t send it. Our services are for adults 18+. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Our Tools (Processors)
We use reputable vendors to run the site and communications. They process data for us under their own terms/policies.
- Vendasta (Acquisition Widget, portal/CRM, Conversations/AI web chat): account creation, lead capture, chat handling, CRM.
- Google Analytics 4: site analytics.
- Google Tag Manager: manages tags.
- Google Ads tag (“Google pixel”): conversions, retargeting, ad attribution.
- Meta Pixel: conversions, retargeting, ad attribution on Meta properties.
- Hosting (GoDaddy Managed WordPress): site + server logs.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it with these vendors only to provide our services, meet legal obligations, protect rights, or as part of a business transfer if we ever sell/merge.
Cookies, Pixels & Retargeting
We use:
- Strictly necessary cookies (security, load balancing, bot function).
- Analytics cookies (GA4).
- Preference cookies (remembering choices).
- Advertising/attribution tags (Google Ads and Meta Pixel) for retargeting and measuring campaign performance.

You can use browser controls to block/clear cookies. You can also manage ad preferences here:

Blocking some cookies/pixels may limit features (e.g., chat personalization, ad relevance), but the site will generally still work.
SMS, Calls, and Email (Consent)
If you provide your phone number and agree to receive texts or calls, you consent to us (or our vendors) contacting you at that number, which may include autodialed or prerecorded messages, for service and marketing related to LOZdigital. Message & data rates may apply. Frequency varies. Opt out anytime: reply STOP to SMS, or tell us during a call.
Email marketing will include an unsubscribe link. You don’t have to consent to marketing to buy our services.
How Long We Keep Data
- Leads & chat transcripts: typically 12–24 months after last activity (to measure outcomes and follow-ups), unless you ask us to delete sooner.
- Client/account data: for the life of the account and as needed to meet legal/financial obligations.
- Analytics logs: per vendor defaults (e.g., GA4 data retention settings).
Your Rights & Choices
Depending on where you live (e.g., CA/CO/CT/VA/UT), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or limit use of your personal data, and to opt out of sale or targeted advertising. We don’t sell data; if/when we use targeted ads/retargeting, we honor opt-outs.

Do Not Track: We don’t respond to DNT signals due to industry standards variability.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No system is perfect—please use caution when sending information online.
International Visitors
We’re US-based. If you visit from outside the US, your data may be processed in the US (and by our vendors in other countries). By using our site, you consent to these transfers.
Third-Party Links
Our site may link to other sites. Their privacy rules apply there.
Changes
We’ll update this policy when we change tools or practices. We’ll post the new “Last updated” date at the top.
